Diana Tea Estate since the year 1976 has expanded its production capacity from a meager 250,000 Kilograms. per year to a staggering capacity of 5,000,000 Kilograms. per year. The company specializes in production of CTC Tea and blends of teas from Assam, Dooars and Darjeeling. Diana Tea Company also purchases huge volumes of Tea from the auction houses nationwide to prepare various blends of tea customized as per the consumer preferences.Diana Tea Company ranks amongst the top Tea Estates in Dooars region of West Bengal in respect of quality, quantity and best maintained garden. Presently the total annual production of Diana Tea Company Ltd is 5 million kilograms.In the year 1994 the management of the company desired to share its success with public and accordingly made an initial public issue of its equity shares at a premium of Rs.55/- per share which was oversubscribed 2.5 times and listed in four major stock exchanges of the country namely Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi and Ahmedabad.The Company intends to grow in the plantation business through appropriate consolidation and modernization of its existing tea plantation by enabling it to reach to the highest level of economic viability. The Company also intends to go for the expansion of its plantation business inorganically by acquisition of other tea estates. The Company also wants to en-cash its goodwill and brand by launching various value added products in the Indian market.
